Lower postal traffic in 2009 (di-ve)

Malta saw fewer items pass through the mail last year, despite an increase in parcel and courier traffic. National Statistics Office figures show that the total postal traffic for 2009 amounted to 44.5 million items, a 5.8 per cent drop over 2008 figures.

Mobile phone subscriptions exceed population number (Times of Malta)

In the fourth quarter of 2009, the absolute number of mobile telephone subscriptions totalled 422,083. Subscriptions to post-paid schemes were recorded at 78,389, while pre-paid scheme subscriptions stood at 343,694, which put the mobile penetration rate at 101.3 subscriptions per 100 persons - meaning that some people have more than one mobile subscription.

ANC Couriers.

ANC Couriers. This must be where the people too retarded to work for Parcel Force go. I had two parcels picked up and even putting the correct barcode on each parcel was too much for their driver. They then went on to delivery correctly addressed parcels to the wrong addresses in the wrong counties. It cost me over �300.

I was sold this disaster by some shoddy reseller called EASYPOSTUK.COM - their could not give a f@@k attitude amazed me. I feel as they figured they lost us as a customer they could not be bothered to sort it. They arranged to call me back next day then turned the phone lines off for a week over christmas. (They emailed me months later to sort it out after they saw this page).

In our opinion, you have more chance of getting the parcel delivered safely by giving it to a crack addict than ANC Couriers.
